I’m very pleased overall w the experience of hosting a store w Shopify. Base rates are low, and has HIGH level of functionality. The one thing that I’d say they need to improve is credit card processing rates for international payments. Canadian owned store w US base currency selling to US customer has to pay about .7% of total revenue is processing fees not applied to other stores w US owners. Ya it’s petty but ecommerce margins are thin and I’d love that unnecessary 1% out of the expense column and into the profit one.

Brilliant off the shelf platform where everything works as expected. Checkout flow is perfect for the end user. Have had some issues with plugins but support are working on this for us now. Planning on moving a number of other sites over in coming months.
