If you own an older home and are unsure if your systems or appliances have been improperly installed or maintained, First American Home Warranty may be a good option for you. This company does not have coverage caps on essential home systems.

I've had the First American Premier Plan for years. Their online claim portal is quick and easy. The system is organized. They have a repair company call the same day or next day and each company has got the job done successfully in a reasonable time. I've had many home repairs fixed via First American, so I feel it has been worth the cost so far and would recommend it for homeowners with limited time and homeowners that don't want a surprise bill for an unexpected problem.

It is great peace of mind,that the home warranty is available on any home covered repair.the ac/ heating ,the appliances,are high end and costly repairs.the condition of our economy can make repairs far more costly without this coverage. And possibly unaffordable.

Very useful service in the first year of home ownership - was able to cover all the "known unknowns" and "unknown unknowns" of the interior of the house. Had some major items replaced, including the water heater, and smaller but important work like leaks and malfunctions that would have still set us back. It was great to have a service that could set us up with reputable repair folks too.

Called company to set up a claim for my water heater. It was leaking and it needed to be fixed as soon as possible. They put me in touch with a water heater company that I was able to call 20 minutes after placing the claim. The water heater company gave me an appt for the next day but they were able to fix it that same day. Have had fhwa warranty for years. This is one of the best experiences I’ve had with one of their vendors. I highly recommend them.
